We will be bringing you 17 hours of music from multiple talented performers. Our day party in the park will kick off in Oakland at Noon till Six PM. At night, the party will begin at Six PM in Alameda in an intimate warehouse. I can't tell you how jazzed I am about this!

-Take the 24E toward walnut creek/concord
-exit 13 Hayward
-exit at Joaquin Miller/lincoln - careful the exit is easily missed
-follow the signs for chabot space center at the exit.
-drive up the hill and turn left on to sanborn drive to enter the park
-please park along joaquin miller or at the second parking lot on the
left on sanborn
-please do not park in the community center/ranger station parking lot.

-Take the 880 S Exit toward San Jose/Airport/Alameda

-Merge to the leftish/rightish (confusing, I know) for the CA-260 S/
-Webster St Tube
-Continue to follow CA-260S
-Turn left at Santa Clara Ave
-Park outside of Lucky JuJu Pinball, the party will be through their
door and upstairs at Bliss Factory Studios.

2 new Breakbeat mixes up....

Well one of them has psy-trance and ambient mixed with breaks (FULL HOUSE), and the other is mostly breaks with 1 or 2 techno trax mixed in for som 4x4 action (THE FUNK BREWAYA). Both 80 min. sets are technically perfect and the song selections are untouchable. I also have a new remix of an old Micro track and a hard, funky Eskmo track..............

If you have a seat available, for me to "buy" for 20-25 bucks in gas money I would appreciated it. Or, I can pay your way into the party. whatever works. For this event we're flying in one of our all-time favorites, Robbie
Hardkiss, for an exclusive SF performance (one night only; it's all his schedule would allow!). He's played for us three times before in Boston and we believe is responsible for (at least) one of the best sets ever at The Phoenix Landing, not to mention repeatedly blowing our minds on various dancefloors since 1993. Supporting talent comes from local hero and Sunset resident DJ, Solar, and Moxie Music resident DJ, Bryan James. We've chosen the bar Amnesia as a perfect setting; intimate, dark, and red! We'll be projecting video by local and established artists, and reinforcing the sound system for proper punch!

Biography: Robbie Hardkiss

In the Early 90's, Robbie Hardkiss and his "brothers" Scott and Gavin
helped pioneer the American electronic music scene with their ground
breaking record label Hardkiss Music. They quickly joined the ranks of the
domestic DJ elite, and in 1995 reached legendary status with the release
of their classic album, "Delusions of Grandeur." In addition to his
Hardkiss productions, Robbie has released music under the names Little
Wing and Boozy+Swan. The success of his original material has lead to
remixing projects for a diverse group of heavy hitting artists, including
Elton John, Duke Ellington, Lords of Acid, Detroit Grand Pubahs and
Q-Burns Abstract Message. In addition to his critically praised production
work, Robbie has become an internationally respected DJ, playing his
signature funked-up house sound regularly throughout North America and as
far away as the UK, Europe, South Africa, and Hong Kong. In 2003, Robbie
was signed to the world-renowned London based label, Classic. His debut
12" release, "Everything is Changing", has been dubbed a "classic" by
Mixmag; while DJ Magazine proclaimed, "If Bootsy finally dragged Prince

Profile: Redlight Music

Redlight has been one of Boston's preeminent event organizers for the better part
of a decade. Their weekly party at The Phoenix Landing ran for seven and a
half years, built the venue from obscurity into the hub of New England's
underground scene, and championed diversity within the dance music format;
playing host to countless global heavyweights including Derrick Carter, Rob
Mello, Funk D'Void, DJ Hell, Tiga, Christian Smith, Marco Carola, Chris
Liebing, and Mixmaster Morris. Redlight is also known for a legendary
series of warehouse parties in the late 90's which focused on uniting a
community fractured by genrefication and which consistantly drew crowds of

Bay Raves dinner

I've organized dinners for impromptu get togethers for other tribes, and am interested in doing the same for Bay Raves tribe members. Any takers?

Depending on interest and availability - time, date, place TBD

I try and schedule dinners in various locales (SC, South Bay, Ebay, NoBay, SF, Peninsula, et al) so that a reach is created in each area. It's a fun way for people to get together between events, a way to gather a community presence in person, and get to know your fellow Community members outside the virtual arena.

I used to go to Rave's before they called it "Rave's" at Big Heart City in San Francisco. The year was like 1989... I'm looking for some old school ravers who want to do it one more time.

Some of the best ones were "X" marks the spot, "Sin", & Juice, just to name a few.

Are all the OG Raver's dead??? What happened?? The culture was killed by college "Brats" and "Barbie" wannabees....

Anyway, if you know what I'm talking about...

dj kevin "one of a" kind - one of the pioneers of the sf fusion sound mashing any breaks to house and nrg into jungle back to breaks with a turntablism twist getting dance floors into a frenzy for over 10 years. kevin was the first resident dj for feelgood and coolworld parties and has played hundreds of events all over the bay area from massive events to bfd's to underground break in parties and also he pressed two vinyls in 2000 and 2001 with co-creator of the digital allstars dj devious.

Protect live music

The drug policy alliance (dpa) warned this week that new laws could wipe out nightclubs and music events across america and urged music fans to support 'a day and night of outrage'
planned for saturday april 24th.

"the justice department is already using the rave act to scare nightclubs away from playing certain kinds of music and now congress is considering legislation that would hold bands,
djs, bartenders, promoters, venue owners, radio stations and others liable if a patron uses drugs at a nightclub or concert," said the dpa. "if enacted, music lovers could soon be unable
to see their favourite band, dj or other entertainment live."

"not only can this legislation shut down the venues we play at, it could even land artists in jail."
the dpa wants individuals to organise local protests under the 'day and night of outrage' banner and are also urging djs and promoters to donate some of their takings on the night, as
well as individuals to support fundraising events and protests.

'members of congress think the american people won't stand up for their rights. on april 24th we're going to prove them wrong.
