    • I do several events at the Blue Cube.
I have NEVER experienced anything like this.
We (members of my crew and I) have spoken to Terrance about this, as we would be understandably concerned about our patrons.
Terrance is wonderful to work with. The staff is wonderful to work with. And yes, we even get along with the security, quite well. They have all been very professional.

Terrance will occasionally hear stories like this from "witnesses", but he has yet to hear from a "victim".
Rumors like this have also gone around about other venues from time to time, but again no victim steps forward, only witnesses.
Venue owners really need victims to step forward *if abuse really is going on.* Otherwise it really is hard to know whether or not it is just a rumor, or a witness not understanding what they are seeing.

Before folks get upset at me about my comment about witnesses not understanding what they are seeing-
I once had to call 911 to break up a fight. Long story short- when the police came, one of the guys charged the police with a knife. 5 officers had to wrestle him down, with him fighting all the way. A lady walked by and saw 5 big officers wrestling one small man and started yelling "excessive force!" She even called and filed a witness complaint, which was a noble thing to do. However, she had no clue what led up to police doing what they could to keep from being stabbed and bitten. I saw it from the beginning and could back up, that under the circumstances, force was not excessive.

All the facts need to be considered before making judgements.

At the risk of repeating myself, if things really did go down as perceived, the "victims" really must step forward.
I feel venues should not be boycotted unless the venue is give the proper evidence that there really is a problem.
They can't take "appropriate action" unless they are given appropriate evidence.
